Elizabeth Coddington, 74, of Dingmans Ferry, passed away Friday, May 8, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J.
Betty worked as a secretary for the Newton Board of Education, Newton, N.J., and Delaware Township, Pike County, after moving to Dingmans Ferry, and she also worked for the United States Postal Service.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jager Cron, she was born July 26, 1934, in East Stroudsburg. She was married to Leonard Coddington.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard; two daughters, Caroline Bird and her husband, Howard, of Dingmans Ferry and Deborah Krause and her husband, Paul, of Jersey City, N.J.; three grandchildren, Joshua, Alex and Matthew; her uncle and aunt Ben and Dottie Jager of Branchville, N.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Stroyan Funeral Home, with Dr. Paul Krause, pastor of Hoboken Evangelical Free Church, officiating.
Interment will take place at Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry.
