Kittie Caroline Cobb King, 75, of North Ogden, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on Friday, April 3, 1998 at the home of her daughter Sherry, where she had lived for the past four and one half years.
She was born June 2, 1922 to Richard and Berma Cobb in Hinton.
Kittie married John Bartley King in Mar. of 1943. John passed away Aug. 2, 1986.
Kittie was a wonderful homemaker and a great cook. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, unselfishness, and a love of giving to family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Frank Cobb.
Surviving are her daughter, Sherry King (Richard) Erickson, North Ogden; her son, John Bartley King Jr., Orange, Calif.; four grandchildren, Troy Erickson, North Ogden; Mac (Angela) Erickson, Pleasant View; Rebecca Erickson, St. George; Jessica King, Katy, TX.
Kittie is also survived by two brothers, Richard Cobb, St. Albans, WV.; and Edwin Cobb of Hinton.
Funeral services were held Mon. Apr. 6th. at 6 p.m. at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., with Bishop Lee Carter of the Ben Lomond 4th. Ward officiating.
An additional viewing was held at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport, LA, followed by graveside services.
