Services were held Saturday, October 24 at Erin Chruch for Ervin Coats, 76, of Rt 2, Union. Mr Coats died Thursday, October 22, in his home. Rev. A. B. Gillis and Rev. John Holder officiated the 2:00 services. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Stephens Union Guneral Home was in charge of arrangements. Ervin belonged to Lucern Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife:Mrs. Annie Ferrell Coats, 1 son:Rev. Donald Coats and his wife Faye and 2 grandchildren: Donald Ray Coats and Lisa Coats all of Union, Ms. and 1 sister:Mrs. Effie Farned of Frankston, Tx. Married 4/7/26
