Anna Gertrude Clyde-Barnes, 76, of Fordyce, died December 9, 1997, at Chenal Rehab and Healthcare in Little Rock. She was born October 3, 1921, in Fordyce and was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Clyde and Beulah McGuire-Clyde.
Anna was survived by her husband, Dewey Barnes; two sons, Kenneth Barnes and Joe Barnes, both of Fordyce; a daughter, Linda Barnes of Alpine, Wyoming; a sister, Nancy Fenton of Shreveport; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The graveside services are to be held at Barnes Cemetery near Fordyce with the Rev. Horace Dunn officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
