From an early age, Virginia worked with her family in farming. A housewife, she loved to do gardening, go to yard sales and flea markets and spend time with her family.
Survivors include her son Roger Boone and his wife Sue of Vevay, daughter, Patsy Rose and her husband Terry of Bedford, KY; sisters, Shirley Lock of Madison and Carolyn (Erv) Wilson of Madison; brother, Clarence “Jr” (Cathy) Clubb of Columbus; grandchildren, Brent Rose, Angie (Jay )Elswick, Pam Boone, David Koons, and Eric Thompson; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sisters, Mabel Patterson, Marie Hay, Edith Reed, Hazel Thevenow, Wanda Law, Marilyn Clubb; brothers, Barton, Boyd, Charlie, Gayle and Elmo Clubb; and granddaughter, Millicent Rose.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, March 28th at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre at 2800 Michigan Road. Service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Grandview Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to the funeral home in Virginia’s memory made to the American Cancer Society or to the Brooksburg Cemetery.
