FORSYTH — Susan Marie Bradshaw, 58, of Forsyth, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 in her home with her family at her side
Susan was born August 28, 1949, in Decatur, the daughter of William R. and Stella (Holeway) Cloyd. A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Susan worked as a secretary/office manager at John's Marine and Superior Fire Equipment. She married Larry Bradshaw on December 12, 1970.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of Forsyth; son, Bryan (Jill) Bradshaw of Mahomet; mother, Stella Cloyd of Largo, FL; grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Jacob; sisters: Mariellen (Dan) Durbin of Lawrenceburg, IN, Pam (Rich) McMillan of Davie, FL; brother, William R. (Becky) Cloyd, Jr, of Valley Park, MO; several nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Her father and infant brother, Thomas preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Friday, August 15, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with a Memorial Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 11 am. Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Susan would also ask that you donate one of the most precious gifts you have. Please donate blood to the American Red Cross!
The family would like to thank the following caregivers: Diana Forden, Jill Reed, Gayle Dougherty and Doris Oliver for their outstanding care and compassion. They would also like to thank Dr. Perdekamp and family, Caregivers and staff at DMH 5100 and the Caregivers and staff of Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.
Susan was loved by many and will be missed by all.
