Agnes Rita Clouse, 90
SOMERSET - Agnes Rita Clouse, 90, of Somerset, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at Autumn Health Care of Somerset.
Agnes was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Somerset, to the late Joseph T. and Veronica Hillis Noll. A graduate of Meredith Business College, she was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Somerset American Legion Auxiliary. Agnes especially enjoyed the time she spent as an active member of the Good Samaritan Charity Circle.
Agnes was a devoted mother to three sons, Dr. Mike (Chris) Clouse, Dr. Steve (Carol) Clouse and Jim (Paula) Clouse, all of Somerset; four daughters, Patty (Charley) Saunders of Zanesville, Terri (Tim) Hill of New Lexington, Mary (Dwight) Brown of Newark and Amy (Jerry) Koblentz of Somerset; she delighted in her grandchildren, Joe (Kim) Clouse, Mark (Chrissy) Clouse, Matt Clouse, Tim Clouse, Chip (Jennifer) Saunders, Chad (Amy) Saunders, Mitch (Arianne) Clouse, Josh (Jeannette) Hill, Ted Hill, Tim Hill, Andy (Leslie) Clouse, Nic Clouse, Ryan Brown, Michael Koblentz, Julie (Brent) Mirgon, Danielle Brown, Kelly Clouse, Sarah Clouse, Amanda Clouse, Katie Clouse and Clare Clouse. Her fondest joys came with the birth of 10 great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. She also had three loving sisters, Helen Anglim of Columbus, Hilda Lennon of Buckeye Lake and Mary Catherine Schmidt of Newark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 61 years, Dr. Michael P. Clouse Sr.; a son, Charles Andrew Clouse; and three brothers, Joseph, Earl and John Noll.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home in Somerset, where vigil services will be held at 7:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Tony Breen as celebrant, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Gene Dawson. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and due to Agnes' love of children, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic School or Church.
