Alton Click, 72, of Johnstown, OH, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Alton was born in Mount Alto, WV to Ray and Ruby Click. Alton is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Paul and Lewis and his sister Helen. Alton is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Parker-Barry, step sons, Timothy (Beth) Grabo and Thomas Grabo; grandchildren, Joshua and Shannon Parker, Brandon Barry, Brittany Howard, Matthew, Megan and Emily Grabo; brothers, Lester, Dennis (Joan), Harold (Barb) Click; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special in-laws, Barb and Guy Capocciama. Alton was a master hair stylist for 52 years in Columbus, Ohio. Alton owned Hair Dimensions hair salon for over 35 years. Alton was a member of the Ohio National Guard. Alton served 12 months in Kunsan, Korea in 1968-1969, during the Pueblo Crisis. Alton enjoyed going to and showing his Corvettes and Camaros at custom car shows. Alton was an active member of the Johnstown Methodist Church. In his later years Alton enjoyed his 4 kitty cats, Shannie, Dinnie, Tony and Buddy. A visitation will be held at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME in Johnstown, Ohio on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio and/or The James Cancer Center.
