Mrs. Bertha Armstrong, 80, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of 1005 N. Patton, died at 5:20 p.m. Friday at Physicians' Hospital in Bakerfield.
Born in Litchfield, Ky., the daughter of Tom and Cora Long Clemmons, she was the last surviving charter member of First Assembly of God Church in Springfield.
She is survived by two sons, Delmar of Covina, Calif., Rev. Robert Armstrong, of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Blankenship, Mrs. Betty Losey, both of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Bea VanNorte of Litchfield, Ky., Mrs. Virginia Daniels of Maslon, Ohio; one brother, Raymond Clemmons of Litchfield, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
