She was born November 8, 1929 in Maple Rapids, the daughter of Cleo and Aneta (Tingley) Scutt.
Mrs. Clements enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors especially at the lake. She loved her family and being with them. She always looked forward to listening to country music at the Commision on aging on Thursday nights.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Kenneth W. Scutt.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Roger L. Clements of Ionia; children, Judy (George) McDonald of Belding, Gary (Kim) Clements of Ionia, Linda Clements of Ionia and Laura Clements of Kentwood; six granchildren, David Nelson, Amy Nelson, Andrew NcDonald, Melissa Clements, Michael Clements and George C. McDonald; brother, C. Vernol (Louise) Scutt of Portland, sister-in-law, Jane Scutt of Portland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. David L. Flagel, Pastor at 11 a.m., Tuesday at LaValley United Methodist Church with interment following at Tuttle Cemetery, Ionia.
The family received friends on Monday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of A. Yvonne Clements.
