Mary E. Alspach Hutchens, Nov. 6, 1912-Nov. 12, 1997, Mary E. ALSPACH HUTCHENS, 85, 1535 E. Ninth St., Rochester, died at 4 a.m. today at LifeCare Center.
She [Mary Evaretta CLEMENTS] was born Nov. 6, 1912, to William P. and. Lethel McGUIRE CLEMENTS. She married Louis L. ALSPACH on June 20, 1936. He died June 26, 1968. She later married Raymond HUTCHENS on Nov. 26, 1971. He died Oct. 10, 1987. She was a former bookkeeper at Manitou Moose Lodge and retired employee of Hart Schaffner & Marx. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manitou Moose Lodge, and Rochester American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries.
Survivors include one son, David W. ALSPACH, Rochester; three grandchildren, Gregory ALSPACH, Buford, Ga., Joseph A. ALSPACH, Valparaiso, Helen A. ALSPACH, Indianapolis; one great-grandson, Jeremy ALSPACH, Valparaiso, and a daughter-in-law, Sue HILDEBRANDT, Indianapolis.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rochester IOOF Cemetery with Rev. John ZAHN officiating. There will be no visitation. Zimmerman Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Heart Fund.
