Louise Atkinson, age 89, of Denton, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Appling Health Care System in Baxley. Mrs. Atkinson was born February 26, 1926 in Coffee County to the late LeRoy Clements and the late Sarah Hutto Clements. She was retired from Alco and was a member of Denton Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her Husband, George Washington Atkinson, Jr. Survivors include two Daughters, Georgetta Harris of Hazlehurst and Grace Wooten of Broxton; Son, Johnny W. Atkinson of Denton; Five Grandchildren, Tonya Tillman, Connie Williams, George Andrews, Chris Atkinson and Kristy Rangel; Seven Great-Grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor with Rev. Van McCall officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
