Sunday evening April 29th the infant son of Mr and Mrs Ernest R, Clark was called home from this life after a brief illness. The babe was born April 15th and for some time after his birth suffered from valvular heart trouble, However this trouble ceased and the infant was thought to be getting along nicely when a hemorrhage began and all efforts to save it proved unavailing.
Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday May 1st.
Musical selections were rendered by a double mixed quartet composed of Arch, Lloyd and Obed Gardner, Ona Harrison, Gean Harrison, Nellie Roberts, Lucile Call and Espessa Roberts, with a trio by the Gardner brothers.
Speakers were Ona Harrison, Obed Gardner, and Joseph D. Linford. All of whom spoke words of comfort and consolation to the bereaved, and of our belief in a resurrection where at some future time a glorious reunion will take place.
The speakers also held tribute to the parents of the infant for their faithfulness to duty and their exemplary lives.
Prayers were by Ben Nield and Thomas Burton.
Interment was in the city cemetery.
The dedicatory prayer was offered by Bishop A.R. Clark.
