Anna V. Clark, 88, of Ripley Crossings Nursing Home in Milan, died Thursday, August 9, 2001. She was born November 19, 1912 in Indianapolis the daughter of Vincent and Lillian DeWilliams Ruggieri, both deceased. She married Virgil J. "Jack" Clark and he preceded her in death on December 1, 1988. Survivors include one son, Jack Clark of Milan, two daughters, Joan Marie Tanksley of Connersville, Christine Sue Hyatt of Texas, fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and one great-granddaughter, Jillian Brandes.
Mrs. Clark had lived in Liberty for 52 years prior to moving to Milan in 1988. She was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Liberty and it's altar society. She graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian burial was conducted at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Liberty, with Father John O'Brien officiating.
