Audrey was born on October 24, 1914 in Sabula, Iowa to John Percy and Rosa (Hinrichs) Clark. She graduated from Sabula High School. On June 6, 1941 Audrey married Russell Sweitzer. Russell died May 18, 2002 in Savanna. Audrey was a Country School Teacher in Iowa for nine years. She worked at Stransky Farm Supply in Savanna, Illinois for twenty-five years and for the American Red Cross for fifty years.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary Unit #148 and a former member of the Wa-Tan-Ye Club in Savanna. Audrey enjoyed spending her free time playing Bingo and Cards; most of all spending time with family and friends.
Audrey is survived by a brother Lyle (Elaine) Clark of Scottsdale, Arizona; a brother-in-law Rich Rambeaux of Brandon, Florida; two sister-in-laws Ethel Clark of Whitesboro, New York and Mary Clark of Preston, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell; six brothers and two sisters.
