BORN on 12/11/1888, Edward Arthur Clark, to the late M/M. Joe S. Clark, near Thorndale and lived there most of his life. Married Miss Beulah Rasberry in Feb. 1919. Member of Trinity Methodist Church. Veteran of WW-1. He was a retired building contractor. He had a flair for writing and left a priceless number of manuscripts to be handed down to his children.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Beulah of Thorndale; son, H.P. (Pat) Clark of Rockdale; daughter, Mrs. Helen Childs of Kingsville; 5 brothers, Roy Clark of Rockdale, Homer Clark of Elkins, AR,. Joseph Clark of Monticello, AR., Tom Clark and Champ Clark, both of Houston; sister, Mrs. Audrey Peebles of Fayetteville, FL. and 5 grandchildren.
