Mabel A. Bilyeu, age 59 years, of Tuscumbia, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 31, 1975 at the Tuscumbia-Eldon Clinic in Tuscumbia, MO. Mrs. Bilyeu was born November 28, 1915 near St. Elizabeth, Mo., the daughter of George and Sarah (Boyd) Clark. She was united in marriage March 8, 1933 to Ralph Bilyeu, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Bilyeu lived most of her life in Miller County except for a few years when she lived in St. Louis. She was employed by J.C. Penney Co. as a saleslady and had been a labeler for a paint company. Mrs. Bilyeu was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church.

Surviving other than her husband Ralph, are 4 daughters, Peggy Bouren of Chicago, Ill., Linda Gabbard of Brookville, Ind., Jane Holtmeyer of Brazito, Mo. and Kitty Bilyeu of Tuscumbia, Mo.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ethel Snyder and Mrs. Mary Robertson, both of Kansas City, Kansas; and 9 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Christian Church with Rev. Gene Edwards officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia, Mo. Pallbearers were Brice Gabbard, Charles Bouren, Daniel Bouren, Terry Holtmeyer, Harold Snyder and Jack Snyder.
