Betty Ann Clark, 90, of Inverness, FL passed away December 15 2016 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL.

She was born in North Hero, VT on July 24, 1926 to the late Charles Hyde and Grace (Champion) Clark. She had one sibling, a beloved older brother, Charles who predeceased her in 2010.

Betty served our country honorably as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S Army Signal Corps for 20 years, during the Korean War.

She was a Methodist by faith, and arrived in Florida in 1991 coming from Forest Hills, NY. Betty loved bowling and enjoyed fishing. She is survived by her long time friend and companion of 60 years, Joan Schiller of Inverness. Other survivors include sister in law, Dorice Clark of North Hero, VT; nephews: Paul Clark of North Hero, VT, and Charles H. Clark of Milton, VT; and niece, Ruthann Hackett of Charlotte, VT.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors rendered by V.F.W. Post #4337 is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 11:00 A.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Betty's name be sent to: Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
