Mrs. Iva Boone, 72, Dies, Solemn Rites at Howardstown Monday

Mrs. Mary Mamie Boone, 72, wife of Ivo Boone, died Saturday, February 20, at 7 a.m. at Flaget Memorial Hospital, Bardstown. She had been in the hospital only a week but had been ill for two months.
A daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. John A. Cissell, deceased, of Loretto, she had lived at Howardstown for the past 50 years.
Mrs. Boone was widowed twice before marrying Mr. Boone. Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Leo Cissell, Loretto; Mrs. Ralph Morris, Loretto; Mrs. Joseph Nevit, New Haven; Frank Cissell, Seatonville, IL.
She was a member of the Altar Society of St. Ann's Church.
Funeral services were held Monday with solemn Requiem Mass at St. Ann's Church, Howardstown. Rev. William Pank, Pastor was celebrant; rev. Bernard Knoerr, Shepherdsville, and Rev. John Bancroft, New Hope, deacon and sub-deacon. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roy Nevitt, Ralph Morris, Frankie Nevitt, Louis Murr, Daniel Boone and Paul Boone.
