From September of 1956 through his honorable discharge in September of 1962, Allan served his country in the U.S. Navy. From May 1, 1970, through Sept. 15, 1976, he was employed by the City of Norwich Police Department as a patrolman.
Allan was predeceased by his daughter, Denise Christophersen.
Interment in Evergreen Hills Cemetery of Unadilla.
