Graveside service for Larry C. Christopher will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Lowes Chapel Cemetery, near Rusk with Raymond Ross Vermillion officiating.
Mr. Christopher was born May 11, 1942, to the late Charley and Nora Christopher.
He was a life-long Methodist and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rusk.
He served in the United States Navy during Vietman before becoming a band director.
He was known for his ability to transform a small music department into a larger up and coming department.
Survivors are his brother and wife, Danny and Pat Christopher of Cushing; his sister and her husband, Celesta and Larry Whatley of Humble; many nieces and nephews.
