Patricia Ann Bruffey, 61, of 13858 U.S. Highway 19 South Roanoke, passed away in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, following a sudden illness.
She was born on June 23, 1950, in Fairmont; daughter of Robert Chisler of Core, and the late Imogene (Price) Chisler.
On July 6, 1968, she married Joel G. Bruffey who survives.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Chisler

Patricia is survived by two daughters, and one son, Also surviving are six grandchildren, In addition to her children and grandchildren she is survived by one brother, three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bruffey was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the "Class of 1968." Patricia attended the Georgetown Community Church and was a Methodist by faith. Patricia was a member of the Red Hats Society, a member of T.O.P.S, and Volunteered at the Senior Center. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, family, and friends. Mrs. Bruffey loved camping, attending her grandchildren's soccer games, and caring for others.
Family received friends at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home, Weston, on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Jay Burkhart and Pastor Adam Burkhammer officiating. Interment followed services in the Olive Cemetery in Pentress.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patricia Ann Bruffey's name to the Georgetown Community Church, P.O. Box 19, Horner, WV 26372.
