Beatrice Irene Chipman,75, of Boyne City, died December 4, 1991 at the East Jordan Family Health Center,
A memorial service is scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Milton Walls, pastor emeritus, will officiate.
Mrs. Chipman was born May 5, 1916 in Mancelona, the daughter of Willard and Melissa(Munhead)Sickles. As a young girl, she moved to Boyne City and graduated from Boyne City High School in 1934.
On November 14, 1934, she married Allie Ray Chipman and the couple made resided in Boyne City.
Mrs. Chipman worked with her husband in the family business, Chipman Heating and Plumbing until the early 1970's.
Mrs. Chipman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star #95, and Dolly Buckingham Past Matrons.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Willard J. of Boyne City, Alexander J. of East Jordan, Allie L. of Boyne City, Samuel M. of Boyne City and Cecil of Tempe, Ariz.;ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one brother, Lester Sickles of Boyne City; and one sister, Julie Priebe of Petoskey and Florida.
She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip, in 1960.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society and the Eastern Star window fund, in the care of Stackus Funeral Home, 417 Elm St., Boyne City.
