Mr. Chester S. Childs
MINDEN, LA--Funeral services for Mr. Chester S. Childs, 79, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 1991 in the Minden Rose-Neath Chapel. The Rev. Moore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Childs passed away Monday, July 22, 1991 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Mr. Childs was born in Webster Parish where he was a lifelong resident. He was retired from International Paper Co., a member of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge and a Baptist.
He is survived by one daughter, Helen Pittman, of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Lena Mae Thomas, of Haynesville, La.; one grandson, Blaine Pittman and wife, Natalie, of Shreveport, La.; one granddaughter, Stephanie Pittman of Shreveport; and several nieces and nephews.
