Flora Hester Fuller, 94, of Austin, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 8, at Waco Memorial Park in Waco. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, July 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco.
Hester was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Henry L. and Lyda Mae Miller Childers. She graduated from Waco High School in 1935. Hester married Robert M. Fuller and settled in Waco after living in many different locations during World War II. She retired from the Social Security Administration in 1980 after 30 years of exemplary service. Hester was a member of Richfield Christian Church in Waco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. "Reese" Fuller; a brother, Gideon Childers; and three sisters, Ruth, Frances and Bobbie.
She is survived by daughter, Marcia Koch and husband, Rick; son, Robert "Bobby" M. Fuller, Jr. and wife, Cathy; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
