Patricia Elaine (Pearman) Childers, 59, died Wednesday, Aprill 14, 2010, at her home in Broken Arrow, Okla. She was born Sept. 27, 1950, in rural Inola, to Otis and Evelyn Pearman. She graduated from Iola High School and Allen County Community Junior College.
She worked for Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla., for 25 years. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow and was a preschool Sunday school teacher.
On Sept. 30, 1993, she married Randy Childers in Tulsa, Okla., at Community Baptist Church.
He survives as does a son, Lynn Wayne Hixon, Tulsa; a daughter-in-law, Amanda Nicole Hixon; sisters, Rosalie Henderson and her husband, Oren, Houston, Texas, Helen Brunkow and her husband Byron, Topeka, and Jessie Cole and her husband, don, Tulsa; brothers, Gerald Pearman and his wife, Colleen, Colony, Michael Pearman and his wife, Kayrolynn, Hillsboro, and Martin Pearman and his wife, Janis, Owasso, Okla.
A sister, Ruby Jane Pearman, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fuirst Baptist Church of Broken Arrow, 100 W. Albany. Memorials may be given to Gideon International.
