She was a native of Morse and a resident of Carencro for over 15 years. Mrs. Chiasson, a cafeteria cook with the Acadia Parish School System, retired with over 19 years of service. She was a parishioner of St. Peters Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave Miller and the former Ella Leblanc, both natives of Morse; and by three brothers, Ernest Miller, Walter Miller, and Harris Miller. She died at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center at age 77.
