Frankie June Blanton of Ennis, age 58, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007, in Dallas. She was born on February 6, 1949, in Teague, Texas, to Aubrey F. and Virginia June (Hobbs) Cherry. Frankie worked at Wal-Mart for fifteen years and was an avid 42 domino player.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Blanton of Malakoff; son, Jim Blanton and his wife Shirley of Waxahachie; granddaughter, Megan Blanton, two brothers, James Cherry and his wife Cheryl of Channelview, Texas, and Will Cherry and his wife Glenna of Red Oak; two sisters, Mary Caldwell and Donna Hartis and her husband Royce all of Ferris; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 14, 2007, in the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel at 800 S. Kaufman St. in Ennis. Interment will follow at the Rice Cemetery.
