Betty Marie Chenowith
1921 - 2011

Betty Marie Chenowith was born on August 7, 1921 in Hollywood, Calif. to Fred and Addie Younker. She passed away on November 23, 2011 surrounded by family. Betty was the youngest of six children. The family moved to the Auburn area where she graduated from Placer High School. She married Frank Chenowith in Las Vegas, Nev. the year of 1948. Married for 58 years they enjoyed camping, fishing and time spent with friends and family. They had four children Linda, Terry, Darlene and Ron. Betty has been a dedicated member of the Auburn Seventh-Day Adventist Church for more than 50 years. She loved her trailer club, sewing, crafts and flowers. She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren, four great-grand children, three nieces and five nephews. Betty will be deeply missed and the family would like to thank all of Betty's long-time friends for making her life a richer and happier one. Also, the family would like to extend special, heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Auburn Ravine Terrace in Auburn and Bristol Hospice. Arrangements are in the care of Chapel of the Hills in Auburn, Calif.
A graveside service will be held at the Old Auburn Cemetery, 170 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, Calif. on December 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
