DELHI - Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Russell Chennault, 54, of Rayville, formerly of Ferriday, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 1991, in the First Baptist Church of Delhi with the Rev. Everett Geis, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mrs. Chennault died Monday, February 24, 1992, in the Richardson Memorial Medical Center in Rayville following a brief illness.
She is survived by one son, Charles E. (Chip) Simmons Jr. of Derby, Co.; one daughter, Ms. Claire Lee Chennault Mullins of Rayville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Russell of Delhi; one sister, Mrs. Faye Purvis of Rayville; a granddaughter, Kaitlin Claire Mullins and a grandson, Charles E. Simmons III.
Pallbearers were Michael Burley, Buddy Guthrie, Raymond Russell, Larry Cooper, Ellis Owens, Billy Cliburn, Buster Harrell and David Crews.
