In 1920 his family lived in Klamath county, Merrill township, Oregon on a farm. William was already married to Emma (about 1913 in unknown location) and they had 3 daughters at that time: Nellie, Mary, and Annie.
In 1930 he and Emma lived at 1949 23rd Street in San Francisco, CA (Potrero Hill). Their family had four children: Nellie, Mary, Nora, and Jack. William was a grocery store owner.

William Cheechov
Funeral services will be held Friday in San Francisco for William J., Cheechov, 69, who died yesterday at his home, 118 Baker Str., after a short illness.
Mr. Cheechov, a retired carpenter, was born in Russia and had lived in Sonoma county 17 years.
He was a member of the First Russian Christian Molokan Church of San Franciso and Carpenters Union Local 751.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Cheechov, Santa Rosa; daughters, Mrs. Nell Alexander, San Bruno; and Mrs. Mary Mazzaferro and Mrs. Nora Compton, both of San Francisco; son, Jack Cheechov, San Francisco; sister, Mrs. Kate Wheeler, Santa Rosa; and brothers, John Cheechov, Santa Rosa; and Jim Cheechov, Vacaville.
Also surviving are two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call until tomorrow evening at the Eggen & Lance Mortuary.
Services will follow Friday at the First Russian Christian Molokan Church, 841 Carolina St., San Francisco.
