KINDER — Agnes Chatman Ardoin, 97, died at 4:50 p.m. Sept. 22, 2002, in an Oberlin care center.
She was a native of Oberlin and a resident of Westlake for 30 years before returning to Oberlin. She was a member of the Autumn Leaves Senior Citizen Club and St. John Bosco Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Roderick Ardoin of Lake Charles and Joseph Eric Ardoin of Moss Point, Miss.; one daughter, Kathleen Ardoin Dominque of Westlake; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Ardoin and one son, J.D. Ardoin.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Barras officiating.
Interment will be in Oberlin Cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Oberlin. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today, with a 6:30 p.m. rosary, and from 8 a.m. Wednesday.
