Mrs. Lillie C. Budelier, 86, formerly of Wilton, died at 5:42 a.m. today at the Oakwood Home in Muscatine after a short illness.
Mrs. Budelier was born March 31, 1880, at Wilton, the daughter of James and Angeline Asher Chasteen.
She was married May 12, 1903, at St. Mary's church, Muscatine, to Arthur B. Budelier. He died three years ago.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church at Wilton and the Rosary society.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Cromer of Moline and Mrs. Bertie Globes of Muscatine; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and four sisters.
The body is at the Griffith funeral home, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's church, Wilton, by the Rev. Vincent J. Morrissey. Interment will be at Oakdale cemetery.
