Funeral services were conducted by the Forest Lawn Mortuary for Mr. Floyd C "Chuck" Charles, 79, at 12 pm Wednesday, Aug 21 at the Little Church of the Flowers, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale. Born in Lucas, Ohio, Mr. Charles lived in California for 57 years, and in Arcadia for 9 1/2 years, last residing at 158 1/2 Bonita Street. He passed away on Aug 19 at the St Vincents Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude B Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jo Moore; one brother, Mr. Boyd H Charles; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mr. Charles was a store owner of Charles Moore Desk Co, Office Furniture for 45 years. He was a member of the Henry S Orme Lodge No 453 Masonic Lodge of LA and the Christian Church. Internment will follow the services at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale.
