His wonderful sense of humor and compassion will be remembered by all who loved him. Johnny was a longtime member of the Waco 92 Masonic Lodge and The Karem Shriners. He was also a volunteer for the Boston Terrier Rescue of Houston. A millwright by trade, it gave him opportunities to travel and work nuclear power plants with his father.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne Chapple; and sisters, Pamela Darling and Janis Cravy.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lynda; sisters, Jennie Kiesel, Melissa Chapple, Peggy Walker, and Laurie Stegall; nieces: Kari Stanley, Sarah Stanley, Darcy Wyatt, Ashley Stegall, and Misti Walker; nephews: Eddie Wyatt, Joshua Wyatt, and John Wyatt; and honorary brothers, David and Rusty Kirkland.
