Mrs. Pearl Lee Atwood, of 4 Main St., Conestee, widow of Clyde J. Atwood Sr., died Monday.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late John and Eva Hathcoch Chandler, she had made her home in Conestee for the past 24 years and was a Baptist.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Weidner of Conestee, Mrs. Catherine Betts of Providence, R. I. and Mrs Mary Frances Garrett of Greenville; six sons, Charles M Atwood of Mauldin, Harold W Atwood of Conestee, Clyde J. Atwood Jr. and James E. Atwood of Greenville, Jack M, Atwood of Fountain Inn, and Randy Lee Atwood of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Coln, Mrs. Daisy Owens, Mrs. Maude Nevens and Mrs. Lida Madray of Greenville; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Mortuary, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the home.
