Miss Fannie Chandler, a sister of Mrs. J. A. Wild, died at the Lord Lister hospital in Omaha Thursday, July 5. Miss Chandler was a milliner in Wilber when a young lady and will be remembered by many of the older residents of the city. Being overcome by heat is said to have caused her death. She collapsed due to the extreme heat on the evening of July 3 and never regained consciousness. She was 65 years of age.
Survivors are a brother, George Chandler, Milwaukee and three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Wild, Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. J. H. Honey, Seattle; and Mrs. H. W. Keys, Indianola, Nebr.
