Grace Elizabeth Chambers Bouma died May 8, at the age of 84.
Funeral services for Grace Bouma were held at the Friends Church in Lynnville on Thursday, May 11, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Howard Macy.
Pallbearers were Howard Macy, Ray Ver Steegt, Glen Van Genderen, Leland Beason, Everett Willemsen, and Lloyd Sparks. Flower attendants were Mrs. Ray Ver Steegt, Mrs. Robert Smith, and Mrs. Arl Crews. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville.
Born in Hampton on March 10, 1894, she was the second child of George D. and Addie Chambers, the only daughter in family of six children.
She lived in Lynnville most her life, her family moved to there while she was still young, In December of 1914, she married Louis C. Bouma. The couple had two children, Clifford and Clardena.
She remained in Lynnville most of her life only moving two years ago to New Sharon Care Center where she was living at the time of her death.
Surviving her are her children, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
