Sevices for A. R. Chaffe
A memorial service for Arthur Richard (Dick) Chaffe, 54, a restaurant owner who died yesterday,
will be held 1 p.m. tomorrow at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Chaffe had been owner of the International House of Pancakes in Overlake Park, Bellevue.
Born in Seattle, he was a graduate of Lincoln High School and the University of Washington.
Mr. Chaffe had served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War.
He was exalted ruler of Ballard Elks Lodge 827.
Mr. Chaffe is survived by his wife, Catherine; a son, Richard, and a daughter, Mrs. Linda Meckling.
The family suggested that remembrances be made to the Washington Elks therapy programs for
children.
