J. Santos Sebada (sic, Cebada), age 17 years, was enumerated July 31, 1860, at San Fernando and Tome, Valencia County, New Mexico Territory, with Jose María Sebada 62 and blind Farmer, Refugio Sebada 40, Valentina Sebada 14, Ignacio Sebada 13, Estanislao Sebada 10.

Santos Cebada’s name was spelled Santos Savado, Sabada, Sebada, Sebado and Sevada in the period record. He enlisted, age 23 years, and mustered into Captain Roman A. Baca’s Company, of Colonel Miguel E. Pino New Mexico Volunteers, which subsequently became Company E, 2nd New Mexico Infantry, at Ft. Craig, Socorro, New Mexico Territory. Private Cebada was transferred from Company E to Company H, Commanded by Captain Juan Labadi, same organization, at Lemitar, New Mexico Territory, December 15, 1861, per General Orders, No. 62,, Headquarters, Department of New Mexico. Private Cebada was transferred from Company H to Company D, same organization per General Orders, No. 15, dated Headquarters, Department of New Mexico, March 3, 1862. Private Cebada was transferred to Captain Francisco P. Abreu’s Company, A, 1st New Mexico Volunteers, which subsequently became Company A, 1st New Mexico Cavalry, May 31 by General Orders, No. 44, dated Headquarters, Department of New Mexico, May 10, 1862. Private Cebada was appointed Corporal October 31, 1862. Corporal Cebada was mustered-out at Ft. Stanton, New Mexico Territory.

Santo Sabado (sic, Cebada), age 44 years and a Farmer, was enumerated June 19, 1880, at Alameda, Bernalillo County, New Mexico Territory, with Juliana Sabado 37, Jose M. Sabado 12, Virginia Sabado 10, Albento Sabado 6 and Chiquito Sabado 6 months.

Santos Cebada filed from New Mexico Territory for a Civil War veteran's pension August 20, 1890, and received application No. 957,095 and certificate No. 667,988.

Santos Sebada (sic, Cebada), age 57 years and a Farmer, was enumerated June 12, 1900, at Los Gonzalitos, Bernalillo County, New Mexico Territory, with Julianita Sebada 49, Alberto Sebada 22, Margarita Sebada 16, Albino Sebada 12, Tomasa Sebada 9 and Pedro Sebada 5. The enumeration shows that Santos and Juliana had been married for 33 years and that Julianita was the mother of 11 children, nine of whom were then living.

Santos Cebada, age 67 years, was enumerated May 3, 1910, at San Pablo Road, Gonzalitos, Sandoval County, New Mexico Territory, with Juliana Cebada 58, Albino Cebada 23, Petrita Cebada 17 and Pedro Cebada 14. The enumeration shows that Santos and Juliana had been married for 43 years and that Julianita was the mother of 12 children, nine of whom were then living.
