NEW ALBANY -- Edith M. Kemp, 90, formerly of New Albany, died Friday at Regency Health Care Center in Louisville. She was a native of Cairo, IL, and a member of Scottsville Christian Church in Floyds Knobs, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seigel Kemp. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy J. Schlensker of Louisville; a son, Larry L. Kemp of Crandall, IN; a brother, Dennis Clapp of Florida; a sister, Marjorie Shipley of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Kelli Stines, Melissa Bachmann and Kristi Dalrymple; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday.
