Annabelle M. Cavanaugh, 56, 1208 N. Elm, died Monday afternoon in Ball Hospital of a sudden illness.
A native of Chicago, she had lived in Muncie 35 years. She was treasurer of Halliwill Heating and Cooling and a member of 23rd Street Church of Christ in Christian Union. At the church she served as treasurer of the Mid-Hoosier group, director of the children's primary church and director of the Cavanaugh Singers.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Elmer Cavanaugh; her mother, Millie Sprunger; two sons, John and Terry; two daughters, Sandra and Teresa; a sister, Grace; and a half-sister and two half-brothers.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling hours at the mortuary are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
