Juanita graduated Westville High School and was a retired bookkeeper. She was a former member of the African Violet Society and enjoyed gardening and playing the piano and singing. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Ray Anderson; brother, Lloyd Cates; and sisters, Meryl Gregg, Essie Mae Corntassel and Earle Cates.
Her survivors include niece; nephew; three great nieces; six great nephews; and numerous extended family and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1 pm, Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Heath-Griffith Funeral Home Chapel. Derrick Hildebrant will officiate. Later she will be laid to rest along side her husband in a private ceremony in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
