Ruby M.(Root) Casselman passed away peacefully at Metron Nursing Home in Bloomingdale, MI, December 11, 2005. Ruby was born March 22, 1912 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was the daughter of George C. Root and Amy Jane Mason. She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Ralph Brunsting; her second husband, Clarence M. Casselman; a brother, George Root ; and three sisters, Mable Root Tubbs, Lila Root Simmonds, and Garnet Root Emmons. Ruby leaves a sister, Edna M. Root Gallagher of Gobles, MI; several nieces and nephews; and two special nieces, Valerie Guarisco and Rebecca VanHeukelum, who took care of her during her long-time suffering with Alzheimers. Ruby was a past member of the senior citizens group at the YMCA and loved gardening. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Graveside services will be held at Mt.
