He was the oldest son of Jacob & Augusta (Thaddiken) Casper and was born at Bellwood, Ne. In 1905, he married Florence E. Patraw or Patrow, the daughter of Marias & Ruth (Day). She was born in St. Regis Falls, New York and grew up in Rising City & Ulysses, Ne. Their children: Dr. Berenice of Trenton, N.J., Thelma of Denver, Ruth (Albert Janouch) of New Hope, Pa., Geraldine (Fred Johansen) of Friend, Charles Donald of Lincoln and Barbara (Fred Hodek) of Tempe, Az.
