Anna Bartush, of Butler Street, Pittston, formerly of Avoca and Dupont, died Thursday at home.

Born in Dupont, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances (Mascribzuch) Casper. She attended the Dupont public schools. She worked at Consolidated Cigar, West Pittston and Moosic. She was a member of St. Peter's and Paul's Church, Avoca.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, Sr.; son, John, Jr.; infant daughter; sisters, Regina O'Hara, Nell Jones and Frances Krawiec; and brothers, Henry, John, Jr., Daniel and Robert Casper.

Surviving are her daughters, Mary Ann Ruane, with whom she resided; and Barbara Vitale, Pittston; son, Joseph, Pittston; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Kuchinski and Mary Waskiewicz, both of Dupont; and Evelyn Pollard, Chicago; and brother, Joseph Casper, Avoca.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Adonizio Funeral Home, Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's and Paul's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's and Paul's Cemetery, Moosic.
