Ann Donnelly Casey, 98, died March 15, 2017, at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. Ann was born October 3, 1918, in Wisner, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ceacle Donnelly; brothers, Pete, Leo and Louis; sisters-in-law, Henrietta, Pearl and Marjorie. After high school graduation she went to Wayne Teacher’s College (NE) and received her teaching degree. She taught in a one room schoolhouse for a few years. Ann then moved to the Washington DC area and began working for the government while attending night school at George Mason University to earn her degree. She worked for the Census Bureau, traveling to various nations and teaching courses on effective ways for taking the census. Ann began working in the years of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and retired just prior to the inauguration of Ronald Reagan.

Ann is survived by her brother and his wife, a sister- in- law, and many nieces and nephews. As a part of all our families, we want to thank you for your love and kindness over the years; you will be greatly missed.
