Jack Casey was born as the thrid child of Tandy Young and Malinda Wolf Casey. He had three sisters, George A. who was on 1860 census and listed as female but not found after that date, Laura who died at 19, and Ann who was born after 1880 died as a child. He also had four brothers: Hiram who was in the mercantile business that his father established but died before he was 30; Zadock who was a doctor in TX; Samuel who was a lawyer; Tandy Jr. who was a TX lumberman.

Jack married Matilda Hess, who lived to be 90 years of age, and is buried at Batesville, AR.

The Casey family had moved to Stone county before the 1880 census was taken. Andrew's mother, Malinda Wolf Casey, died in September of 1888 and his sister, Laura Casey, died in November of 1889. It is believed that they were both buried in the Wolf Cemetery in Baxter County. After 1889, Tandy Casey moved to Batesville where the son Samuel was practicing law and he lived out his life and is buried there.

Andrew Jackson and Matilda Casey had a son, Thomas M. Casey who died in 1903 at age 15 and is also buried here in the Marcella Cemetery. His other children have not been traced as of yet.
