Services for Mary Lillian Casey, 79, of Whitehouse will be Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler with Rev. David Mahfood officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. and interment will be in Flint Cemetery following the service. Mrs. Casey passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Tyler.

Mary Lillian Shotts Casey was born to the late, Jesse Oscar and Dorothy Hunter Shotts on February 28, 1938 in the Edom community. She was a woman of faith, devoted to the Lord and the Word of God. She loved her family and took pride in caring for them and her home. Mary also enjoyed researching the family history.

Mrs. Casey is preceded in death by her husband, Brady Marshall Casey, her parents, and sister, Ruby Fay Taylor. She is survived by her son, Tony Casey, brother James Edward Shotts, nephew Carl Shotts, nieces, Sheree O'Roark, Martha Green, Sharon Wright, and Peggy Taylor, grandchildren, Amanda Liberty, Katherine Kroner, Clint Casey, Melanie Casey, Rick Dean Casey, Ron Casey, Debra Casey Sargent, Benny Merle Casey Jr., Terry Marshall Casey, Randall Keith Casey, Leah Casey Cangemi, Jerry Dale Casey Jr., Michael Wayne Casey, Tammy Casey Hathaway, and Tiffany Casey Watson, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
