Carl Casbeer, 62, of San Saba passed away Thursday, November 4,2010 at Lampasas Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Lampasas, Tx.
Carl was a truck driver. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and also served in the National Guard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the American Legion. He was a past member of The Glass Blowers Association.
Carl was born January 7, 1948 in Temple, Tx to Jack Casbeer and Walter Bob Smith Casbeer.
Carl and Marjorie Dorothea Hall were united in marriage on August 19, 1970 in Corsicana, Tx.
Carl is survived by his mother Walter Bob Casbeer of San Saba; his wife, Dorothea Casbeer of San Saba; his son Carl (Monty) Casbeer Jr. and his wife Davelyn of Corsicana; his daughter, Crystal Marie Casbeer Price and her husband Kyle of San Saba; his grandchildren, Tyler Montgomery Casbeer and Carley Casbeer; his sister, Linnise Arfsten and her husband Allen of San Saba.
Carl was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services were held Monday, November 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be at The San Saba Cemetery.
